Some big names in today's Feltham, but I haven't yet been wowed by any of them. On what we've seen so far I'm not convinced that Bobs Worth & Grands Crus will match their hurdles form over the larger obstacles. Silviniaco Conti was interesting at a bigger price but has now been backed, and at around 7/2 in this company is barely worth the bother.
If the money for that one keeps coming and Bobs Worth drifts out to 3/1+ the Henderson battler would probably represent a bit of value, given this suitably longer 3 mile trip and his admirable will to win.
But at 50/1 I can't resist a small tinker on Emmaslegend.
She's only won a little chase round Folkestone, but looks likely to improve for fencing. And if she's outclassed, we won't be losing any sleep.
Emmaslegend: 1pt win at 50/1 (Victor Chandler)
