Flat Trackers #6

Suraj duly bolted up in the mile and a half maiden at Doncaster yesterday.  He was sent off at Evens, so in hindsight we should have been all over the early 11/8. That's hindsight for you. The mind teases you into thinking you missed a big opportunity, while masking the hot sense of shame you've felt before when going after a short one that got turned over.

Mashoora has now been confirmed for the 1,000 Guineas next weekend (see Flat Trackers #2).  She'll be ridden by the Belgian Showpony, but I see that as a positive. She's been clipped into 8/1, and connections are a little worried she won't get home over the straight mile. But I think the price is just about worth a small bet.
