This is what ended up on Martin Keighley's website:
"At Cheltenham Court In Session made his debut over fences in a hot novice chase. He went off a bit fast but jumped for fun. He'd have preferred quicker ground however and got tired on the softer surface to finish 4th. Still a good run though and lots of options for him."
In a pub near Stow-on-the-Wold on Sunday night, however, Keighley was heard to say:
"At Cheltenham Court In Session made his debut over fences in a hot novice chase. But that twat Richard Johnson lit him up like a flashbulb and ran the ears off him in a pointless pace duel with an outsider. That little bastard will never ride for me again, even if I did instruct him to make all and bugger the consequences. The poor beast was hare-eyed with the jitters before they'd got to the top of the hill. I'll do what all the others do and blame the ground. All the options I had in mind for him have now been completely bolloxed."
