Mr January

There's no decent racing in January till we get to the good meets at Leopardstown and Cheltenham at the end of the month.

Give thanks then to the NFL. The regular season is over, the playoffs start tonight, and Marques Colston is a fairly generous 9/2 to cop more receiving yards than five other selected players over the weekend.

Colston has been in good form lately, averaging over 100 yards per game in the last four weeks.

He also plays for the New Orleans Saints - the most prolific passing team in the NFL.

And this weekend the Saints are at home against the Detroit Lions, another free passing team, so there's every chance of the fabled SHOOTOUT.

The players he's up against are Cruz and Nicks (New York Giants), White and Jones (Atlanta Falcons) and Green (Cincinnati Bengals).  Cruz has been in wonderful form all season, but Colston has nothing much to fear from the others.

Marques Colston: 1pt at 9/2 (Bet 365)
